Almen ist ein Dorf, das zur Gemeinde Lochem in der niederländischen Provinz Gelderland gehört. Almen hat 1.225 Einwohner. Almen liegt zwischen dem Twentekanaal und der Berkel im Nordwesten der Achterhoek. Das Dorf befindet sich inmitten von landwirtschaftlichen Flächen und Anwesen sowie Naturschutzgebieten wie De Ehze, Velhorst, Kienveen, Grote Veld und 't Waliën. Die charakteristische Landschaft ist die Landschaft mit Küvetten. In einem Abstand von 5 bis 10 Kilometern liegen die Orte Zutphen, Warnsveld, Gorssel, Eefde, Harfsen, Laren, Vorden und Lochem.
