Poptaslot oder Heringastate ist ein Stins - eine Art luxuriöses Haus, das oft von und/oder für die Noblesse von Friesland gebaut wird, von denen viele wie Schlösser aussehen - in der niederländischen Provinz Friesland. Es wurde irgendwo zwischen 1512 und 1525 gegründet, wahrscheinlich von Sasker van Camstra. Es wurde wahrscheinlich bei seiner Gründung Heringastate genannt, unter Verwendung des Nachnamens seiner Mutter Heringa. Um 1631 wurde es erheblich verändert und modernisiert. Sein letzter Bewohner, Doktor Henricus Popta, erklärte, dass in sein Haus niemals wieder gelebt werden sollte und es erhalten werden sollte. Heute bewahren die Slotwächters, von denen derzeit vier aktiv sind, den Stins weiterhin.
