Es ist ein Kloster der Karma-Pa-Sekte im Zentrum des Dorfes.
Das Kloster wurde vor mehr als 200 Jahren erbaut. Als Zweig der Gründung der Karma-Pa-Kagyut-Pa-Sekte von Samteling of Mustang ist sie als Samteling-Gompa von Marpha bekannt. Das Kloster zeigt Statuen von Amitabha (Roter Buddha), Chenresig (Avalokiteswora), Channa Dhorje (Vajrapani) und Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava) zusammen mit anderen Gottheiten und wunderschönen Fresken.
Besucher können Dhekep erleben, einen Maskentanz , der im Oktober/November von Mönchen aufgeführt wird.
