Zgorzelec [zgɔ'ʐɛlɛʦ] ist eine Stadt am östlichen Ufer der Lausitzer Neiße. Sie liegt im östlichen Teil der Oberlausitz und ist deren viertgrößte Stadt. Zgorzelec ist Kreisstadt des Powiat Zgorzelecki der Woiwodschaft Niederschlesien in Polen. Zgorzelec hat etwa 30.400 Einwohner und ist Sitz der gleichnamigen Landgemeinde, der sie nicht angehört.
