Die Allegorie der neuen Jahrmärkte und Folklore ist ein 2009 eingeweihtes Werk des Bildhauers Salvador Vieira .

Die Neuen Messen sind Festlichkeiten in der Gemeinde Ponte de Lima, die seit 1825 am zweiten Septemberwochenende zu Ehren der Jungfrau der Schmerzen stattfinden. Sie sind die wichtigsten und größten Feste in Ponte de Lima. Neben Musik, Folklore und Feuerwerk gibt es auch Viehrennen, Pferderennen , ethnografische und historische Paraden, Riesen und Köpfe ... usw.
