Mersin ist eine Provinz der Türkei an der Mittelmeerküste. Ihre Hauptstadt ist Mersin. Bis zum 28. Juni 2002 führte die Provinz den Namen İçel.
Die Provinz hat 1.773.852 Einwohner auf einer Fläche von 15.737 km². Die Straßenverkehrsnummer ist 33. Sie grenzt im Westen an die Provinz Antalya, im Osten an Adana und im Norden an Konya, Karaman und Niğde.
