Baulers is a village in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant and a deelgemeente of the Belgian municipality of Nivelles. Until January 1, 1977, it was an independent municipality. In the early 1970s, a new racetrack was built on the territory of Baulers with the intention of hosting the Belgian Grand Prix Formula 1, after it could no longer be held at the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps for safety reasons. The race was indeed held at this racetrack in 1972 and 1974. Additionally, other races were also organized. However, the owner of the circuit soon encountered financial difficulties, and in 1981, bankruptcy was declared. In the early 21st century, what remained of the facilities was demolished, and a business zone was developed on the site.
