This austere brick place of worship is completely surrounded by a graveyard. Remarkable about this church are the octagonal tower and the north transept. But the greatest asset of St. Bartholomew's Church is the fact that it hides one of the most remarkable of the Counter-Reformation, namely the rosary altarpiece. The 15 panels represent all the mysteries.
Did you know that this church is the first bicycle church in West Flanders? The ideal resting place where free water and toilets are offered to passing cyclists.
