AzureYou cycle north along the wooded Meetjesland-Z and the wide polders of Meetjesland-N before crossing the border. Once you have crossed the picturesque village of Groede (municipality of Sluis), you cycle from Breskens eastwards via the municipality of Terneuzen to Kloosterzande (municipality of Hulst). With Sluis, Terneuzen and Hulst you have immediately visited every municipality of Zeeuws-Vlaanderen.
With the cycling friendliness of the Netherlands, you will finally be specially spoiled on the car-free road from Hulst towards Axel that runs right next to and parallel to the busy track.
After crossing Zuiddorpe in the direction of Overslag you cycle back on Belgian soil. Route for the avid cyclist can be reeled off in one day, but for those who want to get acquainted with Zeeuws-Vlaanderen in more depth, several days are recommended.
