Once you leave Wolvertem behind, you climb the Fluxenberg, where you enjoy a breathtaking panorama of Brussels. This route takes you past the Forest Chapel in Imde, the Plantentuin Meise and picturesque villages such as Oppem and Meuzegem. In the Botanical Garden, you can discover something different in every season. So definitely worth a stop.

Eddy Merckx's bicycle factory is no longer located in Sint-Brixius-Rode, but Eddy still lives there. Who knows, you might run into him on his bike in this quiet neighborhood on the outskirts of Brussels.

The route is not suitable for road bikes because of some unpaved sections.
