The Bellevuebos is located on the steepest slope of the Winterbeek valley and is one of the largest contiguous forests in this region, managed by the Agency for Nature and Forest. The beautiful vistas that the name 'Bellevue' refers to, are due to the fact that this domain is situated between 60 and 87 meters above sea level. At the southern edge of the forest, you will find Castle Belle Vue, probably an 18th-century hunting pavilion of Baron de Copis, the then lord of the manor of Gors.
