Walking tour around the Put van ‘t Rauw

Starting from Village Sunparks Kempense Meren or the parking lot at Ecocentrum De Goren, you can kick off the walk of more than 8 kilometers around the Put van ‘t Rauw.

The region around Rauw and Mol is known for sand extraction. Here you will find quartz sand that is very pure. Due to sand extraction, large lakes have formed.

One of those former sand extraction sites is called the Put van ‘t Rauw (Put van Rauw) or Rauwe Meer. This lake is a remarkable 133 hectares in size, and a walk around this lake is more than 8 kilometers long.

We provide a refreshing break and a short pause halfway through the walk.

⏰ We will depart around 1:00 PM
