Some new traffic signs C3 (access for all drivers prohibited) have been put up, making the route less interesting unless...... General (legal?) statement regarding 'Slow Roads': paths or roads designated for non-motorized traffic.

Start at the Church of Oosterzele
Departure to the left from the parking lot at the church.
An off-road route around the neighboring municipalities of Oosterzele, suitable for beginners in dry weather.
Beautiful views adorned by the many bunkers of the defense line of Ghent during wartime.
After 20 km (Kapellendries: 100 meters to the left of the route), you reach the WO1 site at Gontrode airfield, from where the Zeppelins took off. (not indicated at the POI)
