O I R - Lozer - R

This beautiful road bike route takes you eastward to the farthest point Lozer.

We start in Roeselare and ride along farm paths towards 't Veld in Ardooie, from where we head to Pittem. We leave Tielt to the left but take the Poelberg into account. From here we ride to Aarsele to cross the Leie and reach Deinze via a fork in the Leie. We head towards Astene, and pay special attention to the beautiful backdrop, with the old silo and Sashuis of Astene being the last landmarks. Now we go to the Hospice forests, cross the E17 and head towards Nazareth. We ride past Lozer on small paths and return home via the Lozer forest.

We leave Kruishoutem to the left and enjoy to the fullest what the region has to offer. We ride to the Gaverbeekse Meersen, further to Sint-Eloois-Vijve and ride along the Leie to Ooigem. Here too we stay along the Leie to get back to Roeselare via Rumbeke.
