Dendre Orientale from Arbre

In 2018 we made a kind of 'exploration tour' to the sources of the Dender; we departed from Ath, where the Eastern and Western Dender come together and are referred to as 'Dender'; we were - as 'true explorers' - very pleasantly surprised to find one of the sources of La Dendre Orientale on our journey;

In September 2021, we resumed our journey, both because it was a fun trip and to possibly add some watermills to our story. Where the cycling junctions ended in Brugelette in 2018, they are now present throughout the entire route; the journey mainly follows cycling junctions, but sometimes deviates from the route - in the 'interest' of our search for the sources of the Eastern Dender.
