The Dalaschlucht is a narrow and steeply descending indentation in the territory of the municipality of Leukerbad in the Upper Valais. It forms the first part of the Dalatal.
In 2004, the thermal springs walkway over the Dalaschlucht was opened. The almost 600-meter-long walkway leads at least four meters above the riverbed into the gorge. This way, you can see up close the rock layers that contain the thermal water. The educational paths are maintained by the Thermal Springs Guild of Leukerbad. In summer, visitors can participate in guided tours. In autumn, depending on the weather conditions, "mystical walks" take place in the Dalaschlucht.
