Buschdorf is a district on the northern outskirts of the federal city of Bonn with around 4500 inhabitants. It belongs to the Bonn city district.
Starting from the second century, agriculture was practiced in Buschdorf by the Romans. Later, a castle was built to protect the trade route from Bonn to Aachen. The place is first mentioned in documents in 1217. Subsequently, a small, agriculturally shaped village grew, which had less than 100 inhabitants at the beginning of the 19th century. Since 1816, the municipality of Buschdorf belonged to the mayoralty of Oedekoven in the Bonn district.
