The Dahlhausen swimming bridge is a pedestrian and road bridge over the Ruhr at the city border between Bochum and Hattingen. Its northeastern half lies in the Bochum district of Dahlhausen, while its southwestern half lies in the Hattingen district of Dumberg.
The road leading over the bridge connects Bochum through the Hattingen area with the Essen district of Burgaltendorf and, via a diversion, with the Hattingen villages of Dumberg and Niederwenigern. It is a pontoon bridge.
