The Indemann, due to its size and location high on the Goltsteinkuppe, is the widely visible symbol of the prospects that the indeland offers its inhabitants. Its modern architecture represents the technical future of the region, its constantly changing glow in the dark symbolizes the structural change in the brown coal area; its stability stands for the over 10,000 years of history of the indeland. The 36-meter high landmark points with its arm to the constantly changing landscape of the Inden open-pit mine. From the numerous viewing platforms, the observer is offered a far-reaching, spectacular panoramic view of the indeland.
