The Freudenkoppe or Castle Freudenkoppe is the ruin of a hilltop castle located one kilometer southeast of Neroth on the Nerother Kopf in the Vulkaneifel district of Rhineland-Palatinate.
The ruin is situated on a basalt cone 610 m above sea level, the Nerother Kopf, approximately 5.5 km west of Daun. During the time of the castle's construction, this was the northeastern border of the County of Luxembourg.
