Honberg Castle is the ruin of a summit castle above the Danube Valley on the eponymous Honberg at 739 m above sea level, in the midst of the Baden-Württemberg district town of Tuttlingen located along the Danube. It is based on a fortress structure and was never a castle in the strict sense. In the late Middle Ages, it was one of the most important Württemberg state fortresses.
