Through the Calau Switzerland

A tour through the Calauer Schweiz at the foothills of the Niederlausitzer Landrücken Nature Park, which in some places is reminiscent of the famous beech forest Grumsin in the Uckermark. Along the way, in the "Plinsen villages", you can try the Buckwheat Plinse, a regional specialty.

Directions: The tour starts in Altdöbern at the Luckaitztal train station. Along the edge of the forest, it passes by the Old Mill and then continues on the very quiet country road to Weißag. After a long stretch through the forest, it goes through a small valley up to the 161-meter-high Kesselberg to the Napoleonstein, then back in a northeasterly direction to the 'Hölle' and through this valley, and then in a loop to the viewpoint at Kühringsberg. The next stop is the Goldborn Spring. In Calau, the tour passes by Luckauer Tor to the remains of the old castle ruins. From there, it goes to the marketplace with the town church and finally to the train station.
