The new hiking trail runs right through the Massenei region. From Seeligstadt, it leads past the "Wolfgang-Marschner-Bank", named after a former, dedicated hiking trail warden in the West Lusatia region. The "Große Stern" with its rest area and information board, as well as the Popeldammteich pond, are also located directly along the route. In Frankenthal, the trail leads briefly through the cemetery before it ends at Beigut with a transition to the "Gruna hiking trail". From here, there are connections to Rammenau and Bischofswerda.
