The TERRA.track "Geological Educational Trail" leads for a total of about 9 km through the "Hüggel", which is a forested ridge between the municipalities of Hasbergen and Hagen a.T.W. at around 225.6 m above sea level. The word "Hüggel" derives from the Middle High German "Huyle", which means "cave". This also explains the extraction of minerals such as iron ore, silver ore, and limestone. The entire area above and below ground is perforated, rugged, and undermined. About 3 km of the TERRA.track are marked as a variant that can be barrier-free hiked on the former route of the Hüggelbahn.
