The gorge of Entrepeñes and Vega beach are located near the town of Vega in the Asturian council of Ribadesella. This protected area, classified as a Natural Monument, covers about 37 hectares including the beach, the Acebo stream, and the Entrepeñes gorge. In this space, various biological and geological aspects converge, making it one of the areas of greatest environmental interest on the Asturian coast. Among these aspects, the following stand out:
