The National Museum of Health Insurance traces the historical stages and the great ideas that guided the gradual advent of a social protection system, right up to the creation of Social Security. A genuine educational tool, this museum makes it possible to make today's young people, tomorrow's social security beneficiaries, aware of the assets and challenges of our social protection system. A unique site for the conservation of this heritage, the museum is located in a magnificent 19th century château, 10 minutes from Bordeaux.
