Vespa Club Tessenderlo

Today is the day we participate in the 10th Ralley du Normandie, this rally is organized by the Vespa Club of Fécam.

We were welcomed at Salle des pommiers, Rue des fermes, 76540 Saint-Pierre-en-Port. Breakfast was provided from 7:45 AM to 9:00 AM, where we had coffee, hot chocolate, baguette, croissant with jam.

The ride out will take place with 150 participants under the guidance of Serge, the president of Vespa Club Fécam. Strange but true, there are a few Belgians volunteering as road captains to ensure everything goes smoothly along the way.

The departure was a bit chaotic due to the small parking lot at the event hall. Once we were on our way, we headed towards Dieppe over the typical countryside roads with views over the vast landscapes that give you a feeling of immense freedom. Of course, we stopped at the beautiful views over the cliffs by the sea; these sights are unforgettable!

There were 2 short breaks where drinks were sold to participants at a small price.

Around noon, we arrived in Dieppe where we were hosted at the Casino for lunch. The food was very nice, and the atmosphere was great. Around 2:30 PM, the hall was whistled as a signal that we were going to depart for the return trip.

Everyone headed to their wasp to get ready. More chaos ensued because everyone was parked in a spread-out manner and didn't know where we needed to go. After fifteen minutes, everything became clear, and we were able to start our return journey.

The ride was extremely slow due to the chaos on the road and the heavy rain present. At the first stop, we decided on our own to shorten the route and head back towards the camping site with our members of Vespa Club Tessenderlo.

Once arrived, a warm shower was more than welcome.

By 7:00 PM, we walked back to Salle des pommiers from our camping site, which was 900 meters away, for dinner and the ceremony awarding the participating Vespa Clubs.

Various Vespa Clubs from different countries were represented. To name a few; Belgium, UK, Spain, Germany, France
