Description by the author

Martigues is a picturesque town between the Mediterranean Sea and Etang de Berre. Because of its canals and bridges it has the nickname Provençale Venice. This walk goes along the most important sights in the city and makes the climb to the Chapelle Notre-Dame de Miséricorde. The route starts and ends at the Tourist Office.
