Platform 9¾ is an iconic fictional location from the Harry Potter series, where the Hogwarts Express departs for the magic school Hogwarts. This platform is located at King's Cross Station in London and is an important part of the magical world created by J. K. Rowling. In reality, Platform 9¾ can be found between platforms 4 and 5 at King's Cross Station , although in the books it is described as being between platforms 9 and 10. This was changed for filming, as the actual platforms are not next to each other as they are in the story.
To reach Platform 9¾, wizards and witches must walk through an invisible wall. This is often depicted with a cart halfway through the wall, which is a popular photo spot for fans of the series.
Harry Potter Shop: Next to the platform is a shop called the Harry Potter Shop, where visitors can purchase souvenirs, including replica wands and clothing in the colors of the different Hogwarts houses.
