Description by the author

A quieter, scenic walk from Cardiff Central Library to Cardiff bay. Whilst more direct routes exist, this journey follows the remains of Cardiff's canal network through what was historically docklands. Open views across the scenic Bute East Dock lead to the various restaurants and entertainment facilities before turning to Cardiff bay's waterfront. The route back to the city centre is more direct and less scenic but aids orientation for those less familiar with the area.

Fore a more return scenic route, feel free to walk back the way you came. Alternatively, you can extend the walk, by finding the river Taff and following it back upstream till you reach the stadium.
