The Auto-Pédestre Bavigne is therefore no longer marked and signposted. All trails are walkable and marked with other hiking loops.
This delightful walk starts at the town hall of Bavigne. This road, called the "Erny Schmit Trail" after the founder of Luxembourg tourism, leads in distant curves around a branch of the lake "Lac de la Haute-Süre" and offers many magnificent viewpoints. The trail follows the walls of the lake with a considerable climb. In the distance we see the village of "Mecher" and follow the stream named after this village to the lake, which we have to cross over the dam to return to "Bavigne".
