Hof van Putten is originally a holiday resort from the 19th century in Putten in the Dutch province of Gelderland.
In 1883, the then Bouw- en Hotelmaatschappij Putten founded a family hotel on this site. The hotel was opened in 1884 by Mr. A. Schimmel, hotel owner in Amersfoort. The family hotel was operated by Mr. H.A. Molenaar until 1886, after which the Schimmel family continued the operation and bought the hotel from the Bouw- en Hotelmaatschappij Putten a short time later. After the death of Mr. Schimmel, Mrs. Schimmel continued the operation until 1899.
