The hiking route mainly follows these junctions of the De Wijde Biesbosch Noord hiking network: 85-20-10-11-84-82-83-85. You can view and download the maps of all hiking junction networks in the province of Noord-Brabant here in PDF format: www.routesinbrabant.nl/go/wandeleninbrabant. In 2015, significant redevelopment work took place in the Noordwaard (east of our hiking area) aimed at de-poldering and returning the area to nature. This could potentially cause a problem between the Lijnoorden and the Witboomkil. By the end of 2015, the work was completed, and the Noordwaard was handed over. Major renovations are also underway at the Biesbosch Museum, which will reopen on June 27, 2015. Info: www.biesboschmuseumeiland.nl.
