El edificio Breydel es un edificio de oficinas en el barrio europeo de Bruselas, Bélgica, que sirvió como sede temporal de la Comisión Europea entre 1991 y 2004.
La sede de la Comisión, el simbólico edificio Berlaymont, necesitaba urgentemente una renovación debido a la presencia de asbesto. Se necesitaba rápidamente un nuevo edificio para albergar al presidente y a su colegio de comisionados. Se debatió la cuestión de la ubicación de las instituciones de la Unión Europea y cualquier retraso podría llevar a que la Comisión se retirara de la ciudad.
