El área de anclaje se encuentra en el norte de la provincia de East Flanders y abarca una zona de pólder abierta que se extiende entre la Graaf Jansdijk y los núcleos residenciales de Bentille y Sint-Laureins al sur, la frontera nacional con los Países Bajos al norte y el núcleo neerlandés de Sint-Kruis al oeste.
