Villa llamada "Valkenhuis", hermosa casa de campo situada junto al Grote Kil en la Albertuspolder, protegida desde 1612, en la frontera con los Países Bajos. Construida en 1938 según el diseño del arquitecto J. Loontjens (Gante) en un estilo regionalista que hace referencia a la arquitectura rural local. La antigua casa de campo pintada de blanco muestra un típico juego de volúmenes bajo techos de tejas, altos frontones, ventanas con pequeñas divisiones de cuadros y contraventanas, y una puerta enmarcada con ladrillos, además de contrafuertes decorativos en las esquinas.
