Esta cantera, inactiva en 2002 (proyecto de reanudación de la extracción), está compuesta por una excavación de más de 400 m de longitud y un área de escombreras extensa, colonizada por una vegetación de derrubios de Rumex scutatus y Sedum album. Los pocos charcos y estanques temporales en el fondo de la excavación presentan un interés para los anfibios (Alytes obstetricans). Las partes secas del sitio albergan al Lagarto de las murallas.
