La iglesia de San Martín, al igual que la de Appelterre, estaba bajo el derecho de patronato del capítulo de Santa Gertrudis de Nivelles. La iglesia gótica, originalmente una capilla, data del siglo XIV y fue construida en ladrillo y arenisca. En el siglo XVI evolucionó hasta convertirse en una iglesia de salón con pseudotransetto. Durante mucho tiempo, este edificio se encontraba algo deteriorado con una fachada enlucida desoladora, pero en 2016 se reinauguró esta pintoresca iglesia tras una exhaustiva restauración. Presta atención al hermoso pórtico de arenisca, pero no esperes un gran interior; por dentro es sombrío con paredes blancas, un bonito viacrucis, una imagen popular de San Martín y nuevos vitrales modernos. En el cementerio abandonado que rodea la iglesia, las viejas tumbas desafían la lluvia, el viento y el sol…“Tempus fugit” … “el tiempo vuela”…
