El Jardín Botánico en la calle Leopold en Amberes es un lugar verde único en el centro de la ciudad. El Jardín Botánico tiene una historia de más de doscientos años.
Aquí encontrarás una gran cantidad de árboles y arbustos excepcionales. La colección de hierbas cuenta con más de dos mil ejemplares. En el invernadero hay una gran colección de cactus y plantas exóticas. Inicialmente, era el jardín con plantas medicinales del vecino hospital Sint-Elisabeth. Desde 1926, el jardín es administrado por el gobierno municipal. En 1950, el Jardín Botánico fue clasificado como un paisaje valioso.
