La Bronhoeve es un complejo agrícola que desde 1496 sirvió como tribunal inferior (un tribunal de menor rango) de la comandancia de la Orden Teutónica en Bernissem (Sint-Truiden). Luego, en 1614, la granja fue remodelada por el Comendador Wilhelm von Cortenbach. En 1789, la granja fue expropiada por los franceses y vendida en pública subasta. Originalmente era una granja cerrada, pero ahora es un complejo en forma de U.
