Este pintor balneario , también dibujante y grabador, que nació en 1908 y murió en 1986, participó en más de 200 exposiciones con más de 4000 obras vendidas.
El 'promende des artistes' es un hermoso paseo que recorre el 'Ruisseau de la Picherotte' , un valle de aguas rápidas que ha inspirado a varios artistas. Desde 2014, 7 puentes sobre el agua han recibido el nombre de artistas locales.
