Description

Este pequeño oratorio dedicado a Notre-Dame de la Salette fue construido en 1854 por encargo de Madame de Clerfay y está realizado en ladrillo y piedra caliza.

Bajo una cubierta con campanario, el oratorio consta de una sola nave que remata con un coro trilateral. En la fachada principal se accede al edificio a través de un gran tramo arqueado con puertas dobles y parapeto de cristal .

Los vanos laterales son de estilo neogótico, con forma ojival, y cuentan con vidrieras . En su interior está grabada una cartela con la inscripción: "EN MEMORIA DE MADAME / DE CLERFAY / QUE MURIÓ EN CHIMAY EN 1872 A LOS 72 AÑOS. / FUE LA FUNDADORA DE ESTA CAPILLA / QUE CONSTRUYÓ EN 1854 Y DONDE TERMINÓ SU VIDA LABORAL , ORACIÓN Y DEVOCIÓN / TODOS LOS QUE LA CONOCIERON TENGAN / GUARDEN DE ELLA UN HERMOSO Y PIEDAD / OREMOS POR LA PAZ DE SU ALMA."

El edificio está cerrado por una puerta de hierro forjado de mediados del siglo XIX.
