Los estanques del Munsterbos son el terreno favorito para las aves de los pantanos, como el alcaudón y el gallinero. La avetorillo viene aquí a buscar alimento en invierno. La carraca, el bisbita común, el ruiseñor y la lagartija vivípara encuentran en los restos de brezo el ambiente ideal para vivir. El esmerejón, el gavilán, el milano y el halcón común son aves reproductoras.
