Bauma es una comunidad política en el distrito de Pfäffikon del cantón de Zúrich en Suiza. A partir del 1 de enero de 2015, Bauma se fusionó con la comunidad de Sternenberg para formar la comunidad de Bauma.
La introducción oficial del abeto en el sello municipal de la comunidad política de Bauma data del 22 de mayo de 1805.
Antes, la parroquia de Bauma llevaba un árbol de hoja caduca verde con un tronco rojo en un campo dorado.
Como escudo municipal, el abeto en el campo plateado fue adoptado por el consejo municipal a propuesta de la comisión de escudos cantonales el 22 de marzo de 1927.
