Ya municipio autónomo que se extendía por 10,68 km², el 4 de abril de 2004 se fusionó con los otros municipios suprimidos de Broglio, Brontallo, Fusio, Peccia y Prato-Sornico para formar el municipio de Lavizzara.
Cada familia originaria del lugar forma parte del llamado municipio patrimonial y tiene la responsabilidad del mantenimiento de cada bien que se encuentre dentro de los límites de la fracción.
