Ostgroßefehn es la parte más nueva del municipio de Großefehn en el distrito de Aurich en Baja Sajonia. Las partes más antiguas del municipio son Westgroßefehn y Mittegroßefehn.
La colonización de Ostgroßefehn comenzó alrededor de 1790. El límite del municipio con Mittegroßefehn está al oeste en la actual carretera federal 72, y al este el lugar limita con el área urbana de Wiesmoor.
