Alt-Homberg es un barrio de la orilla izquierda del Rin en el distrito de Homberg/Ruhrort/Baerl de Duisburgo. En el barrio viven un total de 14,996 habitantes en una superficie de 7,14 km².
Junto con el barrio adyacente de Hochheide, Alt-Homberg formó hasta la incorporación a la ciudad de Duisburgo en el año 1975 la ciudad perteneciente al distrito de Homberg/Ndrh., que pertenecía al distrito de Moers. Desde la incorporación, Alt-Homberg forma junto con los barrios vecinos de la orilla izquierda del Rin, Hochheide y Baerl, así como el distrito de Rheinhausen, situado al sur de Alt-Homberg, el oeste de Duisburgo. Aún hoy, el Rin marca una frontera natural en la vida de los habitantes de Duisburgo hacia el este de Duisburgo.
