La torre de nivel Goitzschesee es una torre en la parte norte del Gran Goitzschesee, cerca del lugar Bitterfeld.
Su nombre se deriva de la construcción única en su tipo: toda la torre visible flota en la superficie del agua del Gran Goitzschesee y está guiada en su interior por un soporte que está firmemente anclado en el fondo del lago en un sólido cimiento de concreto. De este modo, la torre puede moverse hacia arriba y hacia abajo dependiendo del nivel del agua, similar a un flotador en un indicador de nivel. Además, la torre está asegurada contra el “vuelco”.
