La torre Varus es una torre de vigilancia de 21 m de altura construida en hormigón armado en Lammersbrink, en el extremo sur de la ciudad de Georgsmarienhütte en Baja Sajonia. La torre de vigilancia fue construida en 1975 por la entonces empresa Möller por encargo de la ciudad de Georgsmarienhütte. La nueva torre fue erigida en 1892 en el mismo lugar por la antigua Asociación de Observación George Marien-Verein AG, que, sin embargo, tuvo que ser demolida en agosto de 1935 debido a su deterioro. La torre Varus está nombrada en honor al general romano Varo, quien en el año 9 d.C. sufrió una devastadora derrota en la batalla del Bosque de Teutoburgo contra el líder germánico Arminio (Hermann) con sus tropas cerca del Bosque de Teutoburgo. Al sureste, Dörenberg limita con la torre Varus Hermannsturm. Ambas torres están unidas por un sendero que conecta con la Bergstraße.
