El Steigerkopf, conocido popularmente como Schänzel, cerca de la ciudad de Edenkoben en el distrito de Südliche Weinstraße, en Renania-Palatinado, es una montaña de 613,6 m sobre el nivel del mar en el Pfälzerwald. En la cima, que pertenece al terreno forestal de Gommersheim, se encuentra la torre Schänzelturm.
El Steigerkopf se ubica en el parque natural Pfälzerwald, en la zona oriental de la cordillera que le da nombre. Su cumbre se eleva a unos 7 km al oeste-noroeste de la ciudad de Edenkoben, en el borde occidental de un grupo de montañas, todas ellas de más de 600 m de altura; a 4 km al noreste se encuentra la montaña más alta del Pfälzerwald, la Kalmit.
